Athletics

  • Fitness Training - Fall

    Fitness Training is a semester-long class which exposes our students to fitness, strength training techniques, speed, and agility. Students will
    receive a (.5) PE credit for successful completion. This course will be assessed on a pass/fail basis with criteria including daily attendance,
    punctuality, and dress. Proper exercise technique, implementation of safety precautions, and consistency of workouts will be emphasized. Each
    class will also include basic components of nutrition education, character development, current research on course concepts, and open forum
    discussions.

    Every Middle School student must participate in either a team sport or a general physical education course each season. They are strongly encouraged to play at least one team sport each year in order to learn the skills of the sport and experience healthy athletic competition.

    Middle School Athletic Offerings:
    FALL: Cheerleading, Cross Country, Football, Soccer (co-ed), Volleyball, General P.E.
    WINTER: Basketball,  Swimming, General P.E.
    SPRING: Baseball, Golf, Lacrosse, Softball, Tennis, Track and Field, General P.E.
  • Middle School P.E. - 7

    Every Middle School student must participate in either a team sport or a general physical education course each season. They are strongly encouraged to play at least one team sport each year in order to learn the skills of the sport and experience healthy athletic competition.
